Engine
alignment in all boats is very important because of the
damage caused by vibration, wearing of bearings and shaft
components, if allowed to go unattended and severe enough
I have seen fiberglass bulkheads and other structural parts
crack and even break loose of the hull. Alignment problems with the engine are normally detected in area of transmission and inside stuffing box is located (ie. aft of transmission).
